1st Annual Burn Survivor Benefit Show
The 1st Annual Burn Survivor Benefit was our first great success! This was the start of something very special. The creator and owner of Stitch Element, Bruce, is a burn survivor himself. He was a sole survivor of a plane crash down in Guatemala in 2019 while flying as a missionary pilot. Through his recovery and beyond, he kept in touch with his favorite nurse, Ashley. After making a full recovery, Bruce called Ashley, and they came up with a plan to help burn survivors and their families get the supplies and care they needed through their toughest times. Thus, the spark of the first-ever Annual Burn Survivor Benefit Show! Many burn families have been greatly impacted by the donations raised since the start of this journey. We helped raise $4K in donations this first year. These donations go straight into the Burn Warriors Fund at Shands Burn Unit in Gainesville, FL. The funds help buy food cards, gas cards, lodging, medical devices, clothing and so much more! The small things become the big things. The funds help these families in so many ways in their greatest times of need.
